Terms of Service

Last updated: June 10, 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using PromptEditor.io (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

PromptEditor.io is a free workspace for creating, organizing, and improving AI prompts. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. The Service is provided at no charge and on an “as is” basis.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the prompts and other content you create. You grant us only the limited rights needed to store and display your content for the purpose of operating the Service for you. When you create a share link, you authorize us to make that content publicly accessible to anyone with the link.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for unlawful purposes or to share unlawful content;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
  • abuse shared links, sharing, or other features to distribute spam or malicious content.

5. Third-party services & API keys

AI features use your own Anthropic API key and are subject to Anthropic’s terms. You are responsible for your use of, and any costs or usage limits associated with, your API key. Sign-in is provided through Google and GitHub, subject to their respective terms.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own backups of important prompts.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or use the Service in a way that could harm it or other users.

9. Changes & contact

We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Questions? Reach us through our contact page.
